Dance is the Language of the Soul

Creative movement, cultural events and contemporary dance – find space for expression and encounter with us.
Our Attitude

Identity of a Movement

We are a place for dance, creative movement, and cultural encounter. Our work is aimed at everyone seeking expression beyond words – whether beginners or experienced dancers. We combine artistic precision with open-minded experimentation.

01

Who we work for

People who want to discover movement as a language

Our offerings are aimed at beginners with no prior knowledge as well as advanced dancers seeking new inspiration. We work with children, adults, and older people – always with respect for individual pace and personal expression.

02

What drives us

Curiosity, respect, and the joy of creating together

We believe that dance is more than technique – it is a dialogue between body, space, and community. That is why we value an atmosphere where mistakes are allowed and every voice counts. Our courses and events are designed to both challenge and support.

03

How we communicate

Direct, appreciative, and without empty promises

We avoid exaggerated slogans and instead rely on clear information: what to expect in a workshop, what prerequisites are useful, and where the limits lie. Our tone is personal but factual – just as we interact with each other in the studio.

04

What sets us apart

Cultural openness and artistic depth

Our program combines contemporary dance with traditional forms from Europe, Asia, and Africa. We invite choreographers from diverse backgrounds and create spaces where cultural exchange not only happens but is actively shaped.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about our courses, events, and registration – clear and straightforward.

What dance styles do you teach?

We offer contemporary dance, creative movement, improvisation, and choreographic workshops. The focus is on expression and technique, not strict style boundaries. Beginners and advanced dancers are equally welcome.

Do I need prior knowledge for a workshop?

No. Our open courses are designed to be attended without prior experience. The exercises build up slowly and leave room for personal discovery. Those who already dance will still find new inspiration.

How do I register for an event?

Registration is done by email at info@vernettadance.com or by phone at 0660 2376106. Some workshops have limited capacity – early reservation is recommended.

Are there regular courses or only individual events?

Both. We have weekly course series in creative movement and contemporary dance. In addition, there are special workshops and cultural events several times a year. The current schedule is announced on this page.

What is the cost of participation?

Prices vary depending on the format and duration. A single workshop is usually between 25 and 45 euros, a course series is cheaper per session. You can get exact details upon registration or by email.

Can I attend a course spontaneously?

Generally yes, as long as spots are available. For planned participation, we recommend a short message in advance. This way we can ensure the course takes place and there is enough space for everyone.
